5 Questions with Mike from Jersey

-after a run in the neighborhood

Why did you host the Nomad?

Obviously you are friend of mine, and I wanted to help you out and hang out with you for the week, but also looking at your project I thought it would be a cool way to give you a different perspective on New York, a perspective of a commuter.

Have you had people stay with you for a week at a time?

Longest stretch previously was for 2 nights.

What is your favorite thing about having a guest?

Showing them the things that we like to do and getting their perspective on it because you definitely get a little insulated in what you do day-to-day.  Having a guest and sharing those typical experiences with a guest adds a new wrinkle into it.

Do you think you could do this project?

Absolutely not.  Absolutely not.  It is part of the reason I think its so cool.  I need a little more structure and I have to wear suits for my job so that could make it difficult.

If you were going to do this project for a week, is there any neighborhood you’d pick to live in?

I would definitely want to do Brooklyn, probably Park Slope just because thats an area I’ve heard great things about but never really hung out there.
